This two door sideboard from Italy made in the early 1900s is adorned with inlay work. The marquetry work on both panels shows a bunch of flowers with fruits and leaves held together by a scrolling ribbon. The two toned colours bring the flowers to life. Perched on scrolled cabriole legs which rest on a stretcher connecting all the four legs, the buffet credenza daintily rests on whorled feet. The small carving on the curving apron front, the ornamented metal keyhole escutcheons and the revealed hinges on the sides of the panels add the final touch to this elegant buffet server table.
