This wooden Italian roll-top desk by traditional craftsmen was made between the late 1800s/ early 1900s. The desk is profusely covered with the marquetry of delicate designs such as flowers and greens. Right below the topmost shelf are two small drawers complemented by patterned brass lining. A writing space with two small drawers and two small shelves is revealed by the roll-up desk, which can be secured by brass lock (keyhole). There's more room below with a pull-out panel. The lower part of the desk has another drawer which provides additional storage space. All the drawers in the desks have brass knobs. Brass fittings at the edges add a refined touch, amplifying the desk's overall appearance. The desk concludes with cabriole legs and sabre feet, combining elegance with functionality.
