Made during the late 1800s, this Italian desk was crafted by traditional craftsmen. The desk is made of wood and features exquisite marquetry of delicate designs such as flowers and greens. The angled top opens up into a writing desk with three small drawers and a small shelf is revealed, which can be secured by brass lock (keyhole). The lower case of the desk has two more drawers which provides additional storage space. All the drawers in the desks have brass knobs. The desk concludes with cabriole legs and sabre feet, combining elegance with functionality.
